• Japanese multi-purpose thinning snips made by Onotetsu. Made of high carbon steel, the cutting edges are very sharp & cut nicely.These shears have a thin tip which makes it easy to work in narrow spaces. Works great for various other garden taskssuch as trimming, pruning, thinning, & general purpose cutting. The handles are vinyl coatedfor a good grip. Made in Japan.

Therefore, it is important to try and keep your carbon steel blades away from moist or damp environments as much as possible. It is also a good idea to occasionally wipe the blade with a light oil, such as mineral oil from time to time. It is also a good idea to wipe the blade dry after each use.
