Originating in the 18th century, these timeless fixtures became a staple of elegant homes and public buildings, embodying an era of meticulous craftsmanship and refined taste.Their popularity was also fueled by the Victorian era’s emphasis on decorative arts and interior design.

Our polished brass has a living finish, which means it naturally darkens and ages over time. If you order multiple pieces in polished brass, there might be slight variations in finish and tone initially. Other finishes won’t darken or tarnish. For a lasting shiny polished brass finish, you can request a custom lacquered brass finish by emailing us.
